Hot Jalapeno Crab Dip

Recipe Courtesy of Food Network, Emeril Lagasse

Prep Time  10 minutes
Total Time 30 minutes
Serves 8-10

This dip is a hit every time I make it.  As Emeril would say, "Let's kick it up a notch"!

1 pd. Lump crabmeat
1 tsp. chopped garlic
½ cup chopped, pickled jalapeno peppers
¼ pd. Pepper jack cheese, grated
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. hot sauce
½ tsp. salt
½ cup mayonnaise
2 oz. parmigiano-reggiano cheese, grated
Bread crumbs

1.      Preheat oven to 350.
2.      Combine crabmeat, garlic, jalapenos, pepper jack cheese, Worcestershire, hot sauce, salt and mayonnaise in medium bowl.  Toss gently to mix.
3.      Place mixture in baking dish.  Sprinkle parmesan cheese and bread crumbs evenly on top.
4.      Bake 20-25 minutes, until bubbly and brown on top.

Serve with crackers or sliced baguette.
